We’re proud to announce our work for Beats By Dre, BB Dakota, Visian ICL, and our 2016 Year-in-Review has been selected by IADAS for the 21st Webby Awards.
The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet for the past two decades. It’s considered “The Internet’s Highest Honor” by the New York Times and “The Oscars” of our industry by many. Last year, nearly 3 million votes were cast from over 230 countries and territories.
Each year The Webby Awards presents two distinct honors in every category – The Webby Award and The Webby People’s Voice Award. The Webby Award in each category is selected by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) – a 2,000+ member judging body, while The Webby People’s Voice Award is awarded by the voting public. Both awards are coveted international distinctions of Internet excellence.

BB Dakota loves clothes and the women who wear its clothes even more. Above anything else, this had to shine through our strategy and design. Based on BB Dakota’s philosophy that “glamour is looking exquisite and not giving a fuck,” we partnered with the soon-to-be fashion leaders to create a flagship eCommerce site that connects content, brand, and commerce. Our BASIC® 2016 Year-In-Review microsite - steeped in the theme of controlled chaos - reflects upon a remarkable twelve months for our agency in a confrontationally engaging fashion. This was an internal challenge, born from the will to collaborate, learn new skills, and create the unexpected. Our iterative approach brought everyone from each department together to contribute ideas. Visian ICL creates removable lens implants with groundbreaking technology to correct a person’s vision without the aid of glasses or contacts. With a focus on Visian’s brand, which, through industry and competitor research we found to be a surprisingly rare approach in the medical industry, we saw a great opportunity to distinguish Visian from the crowd. We built the brand and created a digital platform that inspires its target audience of millennials to learn about the procedure and then contact a doctor. View the brand and digital case study.
