Our work on Google Store and BASIC® Moves was recognized at the 23rd Webby Awards.
In addition to being an Agency of the Year finalist at the 2019 Webby Awards, we received three awards out of eight nominations—including a People's Voice win in Best Shopping for our work on the newly redesigned Google Store, a best-in-class eCommerce storefront for proprietary hardware.
To elevate its profile worldwide, we partnered with the Google team to build a cutting-edge, digital retail experience. Our goal was ambitious: to create an eCommerce platform that sets the brand apart through design innovation, immersive content, and streamlined shopping utilities.
Working alongside the brand's internal team, we launched a monthslong research effort. With data in hand, we led a mobile-first, user-centered redesign. The result is a device-optimized, deeply responsive framework that optimizes usability across form-factors and decisively fulfills user expectations on the device of their choice.
To increase flexibility and reduce production time, we reinvented the very structure of the platform altogether. Rather than build a collection of pages, we created a kit of adaptable modules and responsive components to act as building blocks, allowing teams to craft new pages with ease across global markets and regions.
We also received Webby wins for Best User Experience (Websites) and Best Visual Design - Aesthetic (Apps, Mobile, and Voice) for BASIC® Moves, a revolutionary digital experience that details our relocation and process of creating our new HQ in Makers Quarter.
